- The legend always changes with how

"The Living Streets" band name came about.

- We'll give you the most true form of the story.

- When it comes down to it, is we--

- We lived on the same street.

- We, we lived on the same street. (laughs)

- For those of you who don't know,

a living street is a street that you can drive on,

but you can also play on it, so that's a living street.

Anyone, it's safe for pedestrians--

- And every, all are welcome--

- And if you're driving, you better just be careful.

- Right, take it easy, slow. - Kids are playin', and--

- Right.

- I grew up in the woods, you know.

- No, you grew up in a house.

- There was a dugout there,

and that's where we first started our jams.

- When we write songs, we do it on acoustic guitar,

and we do it just like outside in nature,

or just like somewhere where we

both really feel comfortable.

That's probably given us our folky sound.

- It's a two man show right now,

there's two of us in the band,

we don't have a manager or anything,

or a booking agent per se, so I mean,

that's the plan to just continue to try to

keep pushin' and keep moving forward--

- 'Til some fat cat offers us a billion dollars.
