Finding Your Roots

Grandmothers Great Spirit
Glenn Close remembers meeting a woman who had known her grandmother and being told, "she knew how to enter a room."
TRANSCRIPT
- [Henry] I started with Glenn,
and with the one person in her family
who most clearly shared her sense of drama.
Her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Moore.
- Oh, she was wonderful.
She had this great spirit and I once met a lady,
sitting, waiting for a train in Greenwich.
And this lady,
she figured out who my grandmother was,
and she said, she kind of got all misty
and se said, oh, Betty Moore.
She knew how to enter a room.
- That's great.
