(dramatic music)
- I didn't know the Youngstown my father did,
with the steel mills downtown flooded
with people.
- That one is empty.
That one's abandoned.
That one's abandoned.
- Hi.
I just want to be happy when I get home.
- [Tiffany] My role is to find
the houses that can be saved.
This is what we walk into after
a squatter has been in a house.
But sometimes you don't,
something catches your eye
and then you start to wonder,
what is the person's story who was here?
- You know you wonder why like certain people won't come
to your business or this,
because of the neighborhood looks scary,
who's in charge of this stuff?
- [President Trump] I'm gonna bring your industry back.
- He was working at US Steel. - 44 years ago.
If I had to do it over again,
I would not have been in Youngstown.
Yeah, I truly regret it.
- I don't want to leave. - All right everyone,
we need to clear out
the whole house. - Come on in guys.
- [Ian] We can still do something.
We can still fight.
- I've never dreamed of owning my own home.
I like it.
I really, really hope I do get it.
- One, two, three.
(people shouting)
- [Ian] This is the place that shaped me
and made me who I am.
It's my home.
