Dichterliebe: Poetlove

This adaptation of "Dichterliebe," an art-song cycle composed by Robert Schumann in 1840, is set in modern day Brooklyn. There's a universal timelessness to Schumann's story of a young man who experiences his first love and subsequent heartbreak, which throws him into deep despair until he finds his conduit through art.
