This documentary celebrates the legacy of conductor Sir Simon Rattle at the Berlin Philharmonic, as he moved on to the London Symphony Orchestra. Over his twelve-year tenure at the Berlin Philharmonic, he became known for his interpretations of Mahler and contemporary music. He also worked to give the orchestra more independence from the Berlin Senate and create its first education program.
