Watch a dance interpretation of Lauren Groff’s novel ‘Matrix’

Would you like to see a dance interpretation of this month’s Ballerina Book Club pick, “Matrix” by Lauren Groff? In September, Tom Gold Dance and the novel’s publisher Riverhead Books collaborated to present a dance inspired by “Matrix.” Choreographed by Tom Gold, the clip features dancers Lauren Collett, Malorie Lundgren, Uma Deming, Meaghan Dutton O’Hara and Savannah Durham, who portrays the book’s main character, real-life 12th-century poet Marie de France. Costumes are by Kaleidoscope, and Millie von Platen provides the voice-over for the one-minute performance.
