Winners of this year’s Webby Awards will be announced May 18 in a virtual celebration hosted by Jameela Jamil.
ALL ARTS has been nominated in the following categories:
- Apps and Software: Art, Culture and Events
- Video: Documentary for the ALL ARTS digital series “Rising Artist“
- Video: Shortform Documentary for “Rising Artist: Mulan Fu“
This year’s nominees come from a pool of nearly 13,500 entries that spanned 50 states and 70 countries, according to a statement from organizers. Taking note of the “unprecedented acceleration of virtual engagement caused by COVID-19,” the Webby Awards introduced new virtual and remote categories.
“The 25th Annual Webby nominees represent far more than innovation,” Claire Graves, executive director of the Webby Awards, said in a statement. “Despite so much adversity this year, the creators behind our nominated work have found new and exciting ways to use their platforms and creativity to help the world stay connected.”
