After teasing on social media for weeks, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival announced the lineup for its 41st season on Wednesday.

The concert series, which takes place in Prospect Park from June 4 to August 10, is notable for its free admission and dedication to showcasing emerging and established talent. This year is no different, with names like Patti LaBelle headlining and a slew of local artisans involved in vending and production.

All told, the lineup includes 29 performances, 25 of which are free of charge.

“At the core of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival’s DNA… is an overarching commitment to create programming that is inclusive, diverse and welcoming for the people of New York City,” said BRIC’s president, Kristina Newman-Scott. “We invite everyone to join us in Prospect Park this summer, and at BRIC House year-round.”

In addition to LaBelle, who kicks off the festival on June 4, performers include Liz Phair, Jidenna, Leikeli47, Ibeyi, Burna Boy, Ailey II and more. Other highlights include a women-led tribute to Marvin Gaye, featuring Felicia Collins, Toshi Reagon, Siedah Garrett and Kecia Lewis performing a rendition of “What’s Going On.” Movie screenings of Ang Lee’s “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” will be presented on Aug. 3, while a screening of the restored 1925 filmVarieté” will be accompanied by a live score and dance on July 20.

ALL ARTS, a media sponsor of the series, is also slated to be tabling at Prospect Park during selected performances. Sue Donoghue, president of the Prospect Park Alliance, said in a statement that the organization was thrilled to see the concert series returning.

“Prospect Park Alliance is delighted to host the 41st season of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival at the Prospect Park Bandshell.
