Artrain USA's visit in St Albans, Vermont, is the only stop in Vermont in this Century.
America' s museum in motion, Artrain USA is the only museum that rides the rails. Its three gallery railcars house Artistry of Space, a major exhibition of artworks from the NASA Art Collection.
The St Albans Area Chamber of Commerce and the All Arts Council present Railroad Days, October 30-November 7, 1999.
Start your visit with the northernmost battle of the Civil War; enjoy artists exploring Vermont and artists exploring outer space; see how railroads carry us from that past into the future of our area.
The Railroad Days Festival includes a major AAC exhibit; Artrain USA; a genuine Civil War Days bank robbery, Community Events such as bingo, a chicken dinner, a cooking contest, farm market, library event, a Civil War movie at the Welden Theater, a quilt contest and more; two Gate Players performances; the MAEL-Mobile Aeronautics Laboratory from the NASA Glenn Center; a Main Street parade; Railroad Days exhibits of train and model train memorabilia; and a Swing Dance.

The All Arts Council serves northwestern Vermont as an all-volunteer presenter, artist's co-op, and local arts agency. We present concerts, shows and gallery exhibits, nurture talent, create arts education programs, and provide networking and technical assistance to artists and groups working in all forms of the arts.
